OUR PHILOSOPHY

Play first. Everything grows from there.

We follow the British EYFS framework with Arabic woven into every day, because children learn languages the way they learn everything else: by playing with people they trust.

Warmth before worksheets

A child who feels safe tries new things. Our first job every morning is a soft landing: a name, a smile, a place to belong.

Two languages, one day

English and Arabic live side by side in songs, stories and snack chatter. No lessons about language, just life in two of them.

Unhurried days

We keep the schedule loose enough for a puddle, a question, a second helping of story time. Childhood is not a curriculum race.

A DAY AT LITTLE PALMS

One little day, hour by hour

The rhythm stays the same every day, because little people love knowing what comes next.

7:30

Soft landing

Quiet corners, breakfast for early birds, and a teacher at the door who knows every name, in both languages.

8:30

Circle time

Songs, the day's plan and one big question. Monday's was "where does the moon go in the morning?"

9:15

Learning through play

EYFS activity stations: phonics, water tables, block towers, Arabic story mats. Children choose, teachers guide.

10:30

Garden time

Trikes, sand, mud kitchen and the beloved watering cans, in a fully shaded garden with misting fans in summer.

12:00

Lunch together

Fresh, nut-free meals cooked on site. Vegetables get eaten here. We are as surprised as you are.

13:00

Nap & quiet time

Dim lights and soft music for sleepers, puzzles and picture books for the wide-awake club.

14:30

Art, music & movement

Paint on easels, drums in the music room, yoga animals on the mats. The messy, marvellous part of the day.

16:00

Story & home time

One last story, then hugs at pickup. Extended day runs to 18:00 with tea and calm play.

PARENT WORDS

What the school run sounds like

"My daughter cried at drop-off for exactly two days. Now she cries at pickup because she wants to stay. I have mixed feelings, but mostly gratitude."

Reem A. Mother of Layla, Sprouts

"Our son started speaking Arabic to his grandmother after one term. She cried. The daily photo diary is the best part of my work day."

James & Dana K. Parents of Theo, Big Palms

"We toured seven nurseries in Dubai. This was the only one where the head teacher sat on the floor mid-tour because a child asked her to. Decision made."

Priyanka S. Mother of Aarav, Seedlings
