Annual filings

Trade Licence Renewal
Annual, on the issuance anniversary. Late renewal risks fines and suspension.
Corporate Tax Registration
Mandatory for all entities. First return due 9 months after financial year end.
Audit Requirements
Audited statements for Mainland and select Free Zones (DMCC, DIFC, ADGM, JAFZA). Deadline varies by authority.

Periodic filings

VAT Returns
Quarterly or monthly by turnover, filed by the 28th after each period.
Emirates ID & Visa Renewals
Per individual, every 2–3 years. Start 30 days before expiry to avoid a residency gap.

Ongoing obligations

UBO Declaration
Annual filing; updates within 15 days of any ownership change.
ESR Notification
Notification within 6 months of year end; full report within 12 where applicable.
AML Risk Assessment
Annual review for regulated sectors, finance, real estate, precious metals, legal.
